About the Role
We are looking for a Warehouse & Dispatch Associate who will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse and dispatch operations, along with handling and coordinating a team of warehouse associates. The role requires strong operational discipline, people-management skills, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate dispatches.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse, inventory, and dispatch operations.
- Supervise and coordinate a team of warehouse associates and helpers.
- Allocate daily tasks and manpower based on operational requirements.
- Monitor team productivity and ensure daily targets are achieved.
- Handle picking, packing, sorting, scanning, loading, and dispatch activities.
- Ensure orders are accurately picked and dispatched within defined timelines.
- Verify products against orders, invoices, and dispatch documents.
- Coordinate with transporters and delivery teams to ensure smooth dispatch operations.
- Monitor inbound and outbound material movement.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and conduct regular physical stock checks.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies, damages, and operational issues.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of products to minimize damages and losses.
- Update inventory and dispatch transactions in the WMS/ERP system.
- Train new team members on warehouse processes, SOPs, safety, and operational practices.
- Ensure adherence to warehouse SOPs, safety standards, and housekeeping requirements.
- Prepare and share daily operational reports related to inventory, dispatch, productivity, and manpower.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Operations, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and Transport teams.
- Escalate operational challenges and ensure timely resolution.
- Drive productivity and process improvements within the warehouse.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, dispatch, or inventory operations.
- Experience in team handling/supervision is preferred.
- Good understanding of warehouse and dispatch processes.
- Basic knowledge of WMS/ERP systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage manpower and work in a target-driven environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.
